Well gather round and grab a drink I'm glad we're finally here I'll tell you all a tale that I've been working on for years Nothing's ever finished but there's one thing that's for sure The music's never ending and there's nothing I love more It's quickly took me over and I picked up on the strings Started writing lyrics, writing songs that I could sing Making friends forever from the bands that I was in Playing shows and traveling and always on a binge But now it's ten years later and the bands have come and gone I'm still having fun and playing stupid songs And I hope some day that there will come a time I'll have you sing along to a song that I call mine So now you know my story and why I'm here today Cause nothing lasts forever but the music always stays

My life was one big party, never thought that it would stop Playing shows on weekdays, getting drunk until I drop We were young we had nothing to loose and it seem so fucking cool To go and skate, stay out late with the dudes and to play some kickass tunes Didn't know where we were gonna go but we knew just what to do Smoke a bowl, rock a show, down a brew and go hang out in the Doon My life was one big party, never wanted it to stop Go to work on weekdays, push and pull until I drop Didn't know where the time would go it was flying by so fast On the road or at home always know that'd we'd always have a blast Didn't think after all those drinks and we may have made mistakes But that's okay as they say "no regrets" so let's dance the night away My life is one big party, now I know it never stopped Just because we get older, doesn't mean I'm growing up Friends are married and they're having kids, spending time with family Do what I want and all I want to do is to keep on living free Think of those times and I miss those guys and how I'd do it all again And would change a single fucking thing, except I wished it'd never end

You could have said it was the smoke that clouded the room But we all knew it had nothing to do with it The reason why we all were silent The reason why our eyes were filled with tears The TV screen framed a picture A face that made us all break down No one said a word unless they screamed it Cause we all knew you weren't coming back Only one but more to many Than many more could ever mean Better than the best, never second guessed The reason why we're all here to drink But now we're drunk And you are still and empty seat So raise your glass and give a toast to The greatest man we never wanted to loose To the greatest man any of us knew I hope where ever you are that you're happy (I'll never let myself forget) I hope that you've got everything you need (I'll never let myself forget) We'll remember all of the good times, and remember all of the bad Just to cherish every moment that we had (I'll never let myself forget) Brother Everett, we all want you back

Yeah we live for the moment and we try our best To give into the chances live with no regrets We'll give if everything we got, let it all hang out And hope someone will sing along when we scream and shout To the songs we played and the friends we made To the dreams we chase and the days we waste Names of places change but the faces stay the same This is not my house but I call this home There's nothing better in the world to me Than spending this fine evening in your company We'll share a laugh, we'll shed a tear, we'll smoke some weed, we'll drink some beer Think back on what matters most, raise a glass and toast To the songs we played and the friends we made To the dreams we chase and the days we waste Names of places change but the faces stay the same This is not my house but I call this home This is not my house but I call this home
